I was hitting my usage limits.
So I asked Claude to audit how I actually use Claude.
Instead of upgrading, I wanted an honest read on what I was actually doing day to day. Didn't expect the answer.

I was paying for a Ferrari.
Using it to run errands. For 95% of what I do. Didn't know until I asked.

I see all the posts about frustration with Claude right now. I get it.
I had the opposite experience — and I almost didn't post this because it felt too honest.
I asked Claude to audit how I was using Claude. It came back and said 95% of what I do doesn't need Opus. I was overusing the expensive model for tasks Sonnet handles just as well. Didn't know until I asked. Kind of embarrassing honestly.
Switched defaults. Needed Opus exactly once over the next two weeks.
So yeah — same model. Cheaper tier. No quality loss. Lower bill.
